Easy Fudge Cupcakes Recipe

These delicious cupcakes are easy to make and perfect if you’re in a time crunch. I love adding fruit to rich desserts – the right combination not only improves the dish’s taste, it adds a fun aesthetic for presentation.
Cake mix
One box of your favorite chocolate cake mix but replace eggs with 1/2 cup apple sauce. Apple sauce adds moistness to cakes.
Follow same baking directions as stated on cake box.
Easy Fudge Frosting
- Jar of your favorite chocolate frosting
- 1/2 bag of chocolate chips (melted)
Directions
mix melted chips and frosting together until smooth. Spread frosting over baked cupcakes and top it off with your favorite piece of fruit.
I made these for a birthday treat and they were eaten before I could get the candles in! Delicious with blueberries too.
