Salad recipe using cherries and walnuts. I love putting fruit in my salads, they add texture and bring out the different flavors in the salad. My favorite fruits for salads are strawberries, apples, pears, oranges, grapes, and now cherries!

I boiled some lentils earlier in the day to save on time. Then I rummaged through my fridge and cupboards for a little inspiration for my lentil salad. This combined with some good spices was all I needed to make this dish take off.

These are ultra rich, chewy, and decadent, but in a semi-healthy way of course. I also wanted to make these brownies Valentines-ish, so once the brownies cooled, I cut them with a heart-shaped cookie cutter.

I grew up on split-pea soup and have the fondest memories as a child. For some strange reason it was one of the few foods I loved, especially when complimented by saltine crackers.

Ganache is a rich decadent layer of chocolate that usually covers some sort of cake or pastry. To make this look even more dashing you can add some chopped kiwi, strawberries, or blueberries.

I had some little purple potatoes lying around and thought they would make a beautiful combo with my butternut squash. I added a bunch of garlic, a dash of fresh sage, a pinch of rosemary, and I was on my way.
