Kelly Ripa and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
June 9, 2009Kelly Ripa has hooked up with Electrolux to help promote the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. This is something that I am extremely passionate about. Cancer is very real, and awareness is very important. It can only help better our cancer research and build a brighter future, especially for our children.
For every virtual lemonade bought, Electrolux will donate $1 towards ovarian cancer research. How neat is that? I could not pass up the opportunity to help out. And it gets better – donating gives you a chance to win a new Electrolux refrigerator!

The OCRF has a great site to learn more about ovarian cancer. I always jump at the chance to incorporate wellness into my posts. Last October, for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wrote about all the beneficial properties green tea has to help prevent cancer.

Liza, I was so pleased to see the information about Kelly Ripa, Electrolux and Ovarian Cancer Research on your site. I’m a survivor of 7 years and speak out as often as I can about it. There is a lot of publicity and support for breast cancer, but very little is said about ovarian cancer which is a silent, deadly killer. Thank you!
