No-Carve Pumpkins A.K.A. Blinged-Out Pumpkins

Adding glitter to any craft always glams things up a bit. Especially when it comes to holiday decorations.

I used mini white pumpkins and a sugar pumpkin for this project but you can use any size pumpkin or gourd.

Get creative, paint on faces, stripes, animals, insects, polka dots – whatever your heart desires. Then sprinkle with glitter. Lots of glitter.

This made for a super cute Halloween display in our house. Even better, I plan on salvaging that sugar pumpkin after Halloween is over and done with. My heart is already set on using it to make yummy pumpkin bread, and my fave – pumpkin kadu.

To get started all you need is:

Some pumpkins and/or gourds

A paint brush

Craft glue

Plastic cup to mix glue in

I like to water down my glue to 1 part glue, 1 part water. This makes it easier to paint with. Paint pumpkin with glue, and place it over a sheet of paper. Sprinkle on glitter and let dry. Once dry, brush it off with a clean, dry paint brush to help remove any loose glitter pieces. With the extra glitter, fold paper and pour back into your glitter container.

It made for a super cute Halloween display in our house.
