We bought our cozy, 2-bedroom, 1 bath house in October 2010. And in November 2010, we found out we were expecting our first baby that following August. Since then, we’ve decided we should probably add to our little house to better accommodate our growing family. As of right now, our second room is an office, which means our baby, Oliver, resides in a crib in our bedroom. Oliver in our room is great, but it’s getting a little bit cramped. We’ll be breaking ground soon on our home addition and the thought of Oliver having his own nursery and being able to decorate it from the ground up fills me with so much excitement, it’s hard to put it into words.
Because I’m starting to get obsessed with different nursery themes, and because we’ll be breaking ground soon with our house addition, I decided to post nursery themes that I have found, and grown to love, on Eliza Domestica. I want to use it as an inspirational board for Oliver’s future nursery, hoping to also inspire a decorative bug in you, along the way.
This particular nursery, with it’s whimsy soft peach and gray hues is absolutely beautiful. Obviously this would be better for a little girls room, but nonetheless, I love it.
Maybe I could replace the soft peach hues with a pale blue or yellow, I don’t know. It’s a start!
