I’ve been on the hunt for the best way to make crispy bacon. I love bacon, but I really, really hate making it. It takes up too much time standing by the stove getting sprinkled by bacon grease, and then I’m left with a messy pan to clean. Insert my new favorite way of making bacon – by baking it.
There’s no fuss involved, just line a baking sheet with parchment paper and strips of bacon. Place bacon in a cold oven and set to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the bacon. Pull it out of the oven, remove perfectly crispy bacon and discard the parchment paper along with collected bacon grease. No mess, no fuss.
