Pomegranate Berry Prosecco

We just came back from a little road trip to Northern Arizona’s White Mountains. We stayed in a cozy little cabin, snuggled up next to a warm fire and played in the snow – all weekend long. It was the perfect ending to 2012.

Now we’re back home with our New Year’s resolution lists ready and Christmas decorations packed for the next year. This has been a great year and I have so many things to be grateful for. I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for us and for Eliza Domestica.

Whether you’re celebrating New Year’s Eve at a fancy party, a little get-together, at a bar or club, or like us, quietly at home – I hope you have happy and healthy 2013.

Pomegranate Berry Prosecco Drink Recipe

Prosecco, chilled

Pomegranate juice, chilled (I used Pom Blueberry juice)

Pomegranate seeds

Fresh blackberries, sliced in half, lengthwise (other berries like blueberries, strawberries or raspberries)

In a flute or cocktail glass, add a splash of pomegranate juice, a teaspoon of fresh pomegranate seeds and two sliced blackberries. Pour prosecco on top and serve.

Pomegranates feel so brilliantly winter(y). I’m going to make these for tomorrow morning’s New Year’s Day brunch. Your photos in this post are stunning; I felt cozy in the cabin with y’all. Eliza Loo, I’m so glad to have met you this year, if even briefly, and can’t wait to play in September. Wishing you and your family all the light, love and merriment in the world for 2013! xo!
