
We just got back from a road trip to San Francisco to visit family. I have some great recipes coming your way, but in the meantime, here’s this yummy smoothie recipe.
This matcha smoothie is one of the first things I made when we got home. Matcha is the leaves of green tea, ground up into a fine, dusty powder. I absolutely love the stuff. Steep it in hot water for a nice cup of tea, hot or iced, or mix it in a smoothie, like I did.

Ingredients
1-2 tablespoons of matcha powder
1 cup of almond milk, or regular milk
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (more or less, depending on your sweet tooth)
1/2 cup of ice
Directions
Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
