Hearty Turkey Noodle Soup Recipe

So you’ve had the perfect turkey day, and now you’re stuck with a ton of leftover turkey? Well that’s what happened to me, so let’s make some soup! This is my awesome turkey soup recipe. Its yummy, organic, and perfect for cold weather, and of course, a perfect use of all that leftover Thanksgiving turkey! Oh yeah, did I mention it is super easy to make?

Hearty Turkey Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 4 cups of turkey, shredded (I try to use only white meat)
- 4-5 dried bay leaves
- 10 cups of water
- 1 cup sliced organic celery
- 1 cup sliced organic carrots
- 1 cup diced organic white onion
- 2 teaspoons sea salt (depending on taste, you might need more)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups eggs noodles (dry)
- 1 1/2 cups green beans
- pepper to taste
Directions
- Boil water, shredded turkey, garlic powder, bay leaves, and salt for about 20 minutes
- Toss in noodles and boil for five minutes
- Toss in vegetables and boil for another 10 minutes
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes
- Do a taste test
- Serve
