English Peas Recipe

English peas are a great side dish for your Holiday dinner. They have great flavor from caramelized shallots and onions.


2 cups fresh peas or frozen peas

1 medium shallot, minced

1/4 cup onions, minced

2 tablespoons of olive oil

dash of sea salt

dash of pepper

dash of garlic powder


Caramelize minced onions and shallots over a medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil and dash of salt. Add peas, dash of pepper, and garlic powder. Cook on medium-low for 10 minutes.
