Fresh Cranberry Relish Recipe

This is one of my Aunt’s specialties. She is a cranberry fanatic and because of this sweet fresh relish, I am now too. Cranberries are not only for Thanksgiving, I consider them a total holiday berry. Perfect all winter long.
Once all ingredients are mixed, the relish becomes a juicy cranberry oasis.
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 2 cups of fresh cranberries
- Zest of one whole orange
Directions
- In a food processor, pulse fresh cranberries together until roughly chopped
- Pour chopped cranberries in a medium bowl and mix in sugar and orange zest
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes so all the juices can mix with each other
